      "Philippe Pelerin, legitimate child of Georges Pellerin, farmer and Odile Samson, of this parish, at the age of three months"
      It is assumed that an error is made here as Philippe would have been three years old. Alfred, his brother would have been three months old. The recorder did not write when he died. The 1901 and 1911 Census both show Philippe (aka Joseph) still alive proving it was Alfred who was buried.
