JAMES HOYT KNAPP
Former Official of Wollen Firm Here -- Yale Graduate in 1896
James Hoyt Knapp of 59 Loughlin Avenue, Cos Cob, Greenwich, fomerly vice president of the George E. Kunhardt firm, New York and Boston wollen manufacturers, died on Thursday of a heart attack at the Grand Central Terminal. His age was 67.
Mr. Knapp was born in Norwalk, attended Andover Preparatory School and was graduated from Yale in 1896. He was a member of the Yale Club here and a founder and charter member of the Woodway Country Club of Stamford.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ethel Ferris Knapp of Cos Cob; two daughters, Mrs. Bayes Norton of Gambler, Ohio, and Mrs. Alfred Busselle Jr. of New York; also a brother Philip of Norwalk.
