      [Death Notice]
      CARLOW-At Eaquilla[sic], Texas, Oct. 8th, William L. Carlow, aged 32 years,
      formerly of Poughkeepsie.

      [Obituary]
      Wm. L. Carlow, brother of Dr.[sic] I. P. Carlow, died at Aguilla, Texas, on
      October 8th. Mr. Carlow was a native of this city, and resided here many
      years. He served faithfully in the late war, being attached to the One
      Hundred and Tweny-eighth Regt. N. Y. Vols. He left this city for Texas in
      1866, and made his home there up to the time of his death. He leaves a
      widow and two children.
